Eyelash extensions

Eyelash extensions are individually applied fibres of either faux mink or silk that are attached to each of your client's natural lashes to give them longer, thicker and fuller lashes that last over a month. They can give a very natural or glamorous effect depending on your preference and the suitability of your client's natural lashes.

Eyelash extension course

During this one day course, you will complete a client consultation, enabling you to chose the correct lashes and application style for your client's needs. You will be shown how to apply them hygienically, safely and securely. Additionally, you will also cover aftercare, infills and removals.

 

The course will cover:

• Hygiene, health and safety

• Equipment, products and tools

• Preparation of treatment room, trolley and client

• Contra-indications and contra-actions

• Client consultation

Duration: 1 day

Time: 10am – 4pm (can be arranged to suit the student)

Price: £250

Kit: Included. You will be required to provide a model that MUST have been patch tested with the glue and removal products to be used at least 24 hours prior to treatment.

Nail extensions

Nail extensions are artificial nails that are added to a clients natural nail to make it appear longer. Once the extension is securely attached and shaped an overlay is applied. There are different types of overlays the most popular are acrylic and gel. The length and shape are the clients choice, the overlay should be advised by you and agreed prior yo application by the client.

Maintenance is fortnightly. There is no damage to the natural nails if applied and removed correctly by a professional.

 

Acrylic nail extension course

During this one day course, you will be shown and will practice how to prepare the natural nail and apply nail tip in either acrylic or gel. You will also cover trouble shooting and how to perform infills. In addition, you will also cover health and safety and contraindications.

The course will cover:

• Introduction to the type of extension system you have chosen

• Health and safety

• Client consultations and contra indications

• Natural nail preparation

• Removal of nail enhancements

Entry requirement: Manicure certificate

Duration: 1 day for each system

Time: 10am - 4pm

Price: £150 each course. £280 if you book and pay for both gel and acrylic nail extension course.

You will be required to provide a model.

Gel polish

Gel nail polish is a long-lasting instant dry nail finish that can be applied over natural nails or extensions. The polish is usually a UV and LED product that is dried under a UV/LED lamp. It is one of the most popular treatments on the market.

Maintenance is fortnightly and there is no damage to the natural nail if the product is applied and removed correctly by a qualified professional.

Gel polish course

Soak Off UV/LED Gel Enamel Certificate

Soak off UV/LED gel enamel application is a half day course. You will be shown and will practice how to prepare the natural nail, apply and remove UV/LED gel enamel. You will also cover trouble shooting and aftercare. In addition, you will also cover health and safety and contraindications.

Time: 10am - 2pm

Price: £80 for half day. If you book for the same day with gel or acrylic extensions (long day) - £50

 

UV/LED Gel Nail Extension Certificate Nail Extension Certificate

The course will cover:

• Following an introduction to the type of extension system you have chosen, you will concentrate on :

• Health and safety

• Client consultations and contra indications

• Natural nail preparation

• Application of gel polish

• Maintaining gel nail polish

• After care are also covered

• Removal of gel nail polish

Threading is an ancient eyebrow shaping and hair removal, which originated from Asia. Threading has fast become celebrities' preferred method for shaping perfect eyebrows. It is also needed to carry out high definition brows.
